Haunted by East, Contemporary Arabesque portrays sands' warmth, shine of Arabic crafts

Contemporary Arabesque exhibition presents the experience of the artist Ali Ghadaf at Katara Art Centre until September 30

The ‘Contemporary Arabesque’ exhibition by Ali Ghaddaf opened Monday, showcasing 16 large-scale paintings ranging between the Arab heritage and contemporary art, at the Katara Art Centre.The artworks’ feature a great combination between East and West, where the artist highlighted his “ceaseless connection with identity and land, and its great influence on the work he presents”.
