Seven killed, four missing after ferry catches fire off Indonesia

Seven people were killed and four otherswere missing after a ferry caught fire off Indonesia's Sulawesiisland, state media reported on Saturday.At least 61 people were rescued, provincial police spokesman AgusMulyadi told the state news agency Antara. The KM Izhar was travelling from Kendari, the capital of SoutheastSulawesi province, to Salabangka when the fire broke out late Friday,Antara said.The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.Sea accidents are common in Indonesia, the world's largestarchipelagic country, where ferries play a vital role in connectingthe country's islands.
