Many children and their families spend their Eid holiday at Souq Al Wakrah to enjoy fun-filled activities hosted in a large air-conditioned tent. The festivities at Souq Al Wakrah are part of the u2018Summer in Qataru2019 (SiQ) 2019 programme spearheaded by the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC). The council announced earlier that SiQ will sustain the fun throughout the Eid, u201cwith plenty of entertainment for the entire family.u201d Also, the QNTC lauded Souq Al Wakrah, as well as its other partners, Katara u2013 the Cultural Village and Souq Waqif for organising their respective Eid festivities.
