MoI launches Bedar initiative to reach out to workers community

In order to reach out to workers community in Qatar, the Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Thursday launched the Bedar Community Initiative at a function, held at Officers Club of the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
The initiative that is implemented in cooperation with the Ras Laffan Community Outreach Programme (RLIC-COP) is aimed at ensuring communication with workers in the northern region of Qatar.The outreach programme will make them aware of their rights and duties and help them develop their skills.It will also ensure workers’ involvement in the development of society and the preservation of their property through a series of training programmes and awareness workshops.These programmes will raise their awareness of safety, health, customs, traditions and community culture.

Bedar’s most important feature is that it establishes a link between MoI departments in terms of awareness and education.And a large number of employees in companies functioning in Qatar are given training and awareness through a number of expertised trainers.The trainers have been given training through the 'Training of Trainerstarget="_blank"'>
