Greek police believe they have found the man who raped and murdered an American biologist whose body was discovered on the island of Crete on July 8, a senior official said on Tuesday.
Suzanne Eaton, 60, a molecular biologist at the Max Planck Institute in Dresden, Germany, was found dead in a disused military bunker around a week after going missing.A 27-year-old man detained in connection with her death had confessed to the crime, said Constantinos Lagoudakis, director general of the island's police directorate.
