Amir holds talks with top US officials

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the Amir's residence in Washington DC Wednesday.The meeting reviewed the strategic bilateral relations and ways to enhance the partnership between the two countries in various fields.The Amir and the US Secretary of State also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, mainly the situation in Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Yemen, as well as the situation in Afghanistan.Pompeo thanked the Amir for the remarkable role played by Qatar and its contribution to bringing about peace by sponsoring the intra-Afghan dialogue.The meeting was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir. His Highness the Amir met US Senator Lindsey Graham, at the Amirtarget="_blank"'>
