Qatar Cancer Society hosts Iftar for staff

Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) recently hosted its annual Ramadan Iftar for employees and their families, sponsored by Retaj Hotels & Hospitality and held at Vichy Celestins Spa Resort — Retaj Salwa.Ammar al-Mashhadani, public relations officer at QCS, said one of the most important principles of Ramadan is communication and empathy with others.He noted that the Iftar was organised to highlight the values of solidarity among employees and thereby help them contribute effectively in the community.The annual Iftar ceremony is an opportunity to enhance the team spirit through brotherly ties and social activities, he added.He also thanked Retaj Hotels & Hospitality for hosting the Iftar. Ahmed Amer, Retaj Hotels & Hospitality’s corporate senior sales manager, welcomed the attendees and thanked QCS for its efforts in spreading cancer awareness and promoting the culture of early detection.
