Woqod reopens Onaiza Petrol Station

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has reopened the fixed petrol station in Onaiza area after its renovation and expansion and opened a new mobile station in Al Mearad area, it was announced on Sunday.

Onaiza Petrol Station is spread over an area of 3,900sqm and has four lanes with 12 dispensers instead of the earlier four dispensers with two lanes, Woqod CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi, explained in a statement.

Woqod’s fixed petrol stations offer round-the-clock services, and include Sidra convenience store, and sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

“The re-opening of Onaiza petrol station is part of Woqod’s plan to operate 30 new petrol stations during 2019,” the official pointed out.

Woqod aims to achieve a target of 134 fuel stations by the end of 2020, al-Muhannadi added.
