HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani (fourth from left) was re-elected president of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation for a new two-year term at the Ordinary General Assembly of the Arab Gulf Cup, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha Wednesday.
First vice-president of Oman Football Association Jassim al-Shukaili was elected as vice-president of the federation.
The meeting was attended by vice-president of Qatar Football Association Saoud al-Mohannadi, president of the Kuwaiti Football Association Sheikh Ahmed al-Yousif, president of the Iraqi Football Association Abdul-Khaliq Masoud, president of the Omani federation Sheikh Salim al-Wahaibi, and representative of the Yemen football federation Labib Abdullah al-Mahdi.
During the meeting, the auditors were appointed and two members were named to review the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of the extraordinary general meeting of the presidents of the federations held on April 27, 2016, and those of the extraordinary
general meeting of the presidents of the federations held May 21, 2016 were also approved. (QNA)
