Call for sighting Ramadan crescent

The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called upon all Muslims living in Qatar to sight the crescent of Ramadan on Saturday, May 4 (Shaaban 29,1440 AH). 

The committee said whoever witnesses the crescent should head to the ministry's headquarters in Dafna (Towers) area to give his testimony. The committee will meet immediately after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer.
