Dandy fetes staff for achievements, plans future ventures to build on past successDandy Company, Qatar’s largest dairy, juices, and ice cream enterprise, has celebrated yet another year of success with its annual staff meet that brought together more than 1,000 employees from the sales, production and supply chain teams.“The annual staff meet is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the company and its star performers, whose efforts have made Dandy the No 1 Brand in Qatar,” chairman Sheikh Mansour bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani said at the event.“It was our team at Dandy who ensured that Qatar never had shortage of key products like yogurt and laban during the embargo, working overnight for weeks to make sure retail shelves stayed well stocked. So we value their commitment not only to the business but also to the greater good of the country,” he said.“We are now moving ahead with the second round of large investments in plant and machinery as well as brand building efforts, ” the chairman said, revealing that as a part of its expansion strategy where Dandy plans to introduce a new range of long-life juices.Sheikh Mansour presented a detailed roadmap for a successful 2019, which paves the way for improved growth and profitability for Dandy.The roadmap was also discussed how Dandy has strategically partnered with the largest dairy farms in countries such as New Zealand, the Netherlands, US, Denmark and Belgium to ensure a steady flow of the finest quality of dairy ingredients from the best free range and grass-fed dairy cows in the world.Dandy recently re-branded itself and revamped its overall packaging.It also clearly defined its brand purpose from which stems the brands new tagline ‘Dandy Brings Us Together’. Dandy has successfully launched a variety of new products such as fresh laban, flavoured milk, fruit yoghurt, labneh, and breakfast cream.It has also launched a new range of fresh juices, as well as strengthened its ice cream portfolio with innovative products like Bon Bon, the statement added.
