QAC signs deal to supply MBM with over 50 Fuso Rosa buses

Qatar Automobiles Company (QAC), the authorised distributor of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and Fuso in Qatar, and a subsidiary of Nasser Bin Khaled Group of Companies, has signed a deal to supply MBM with over 50 Fuso Rosa buses. The agreement aims to upgrade the MBM fleet of buses and meet the increasing demands of clients and corporates that rely on MBM to provide them with transportation services, QAC has said in a statement.Sheikh Faleh bin Nawaf al-Thani, Operations director – Auto at Nasser Bin Khaled Holding, said: “Qatar Automobiles Company is proud to extend its partnerships with various corporations in Qatar. We look forward to signing more deals and enhancing this partnership with QAC.”“The Rosa is the only bus in Qatar that can accommodate up to 26 seats, including the driver’s, and is equipped with class-leading features. The forward position of the passenger entrance door makes it easier for the driver to see passengers entering/exiting the bus, while large bonded passenger windows are ideal for an unobstructed view,” the statement explained.Hisham al-Sahn, general manager of QAC, said: “The Rosa buses are globally known for their class-leading features, technology and high performance with minimum operational cost and high fuel efficiency. We are confident that they are the perfect fit for MBM operations, whether for staff transport, school transportation or for entertainment trips.”The Rosa uses Michelin tyres and is equipped with a high performance 4.9-litre 4-cylinder engine and independent front suspension. Its dual-caliper front disc brakes with electronic wear indicator warning, maximise the safety of the bus while moving and stopping. In terms of technology, the Rosa encompasses a multimedia SAT/NAV unit with Bluetooth and 3-year map upgrades.In terms of safety and comfort, the accelerator interlock and pre-warning buzzer prevents the vehicle from being driven with the passenger door open. Other facilities include a reverse camera as standard, seatbelts on every seat, ADR 59 roll strength compliance and a rear air-conditioning system with integrated roof vents located throughout cabin.MBM was founded in 1997 to provide transport solutions to various fields in Qatar. Customers can visit the Fuso showroom on Salwa Road from Saturday to Thursday, 8am to 9pm, and on Friday from 5pm to 9pm.
