Allevia’s Gharafa medicare unit formally inaugurated

Allevia Medical Center’s Al Gharafa unit was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdullah Nasser Ahmed al-Thani on March 8 in the presence of a number of dignitaries.Allevia is the pilot project of RAF Health in Qatar, according to a statement. The state-of-the-art facility has some of the most advanced treatment rooms and technologies for the benefit of outpatients.Currently operational are departments of Internal Medicine, ENT, Dentistry, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, lab sample collection unit, and pharmacy.Speaking at the opening, RAF Health chairman Ashraf K P announced that a second project, the Allevia Medical Center-Wukair, is to open soon.Allevia’s COO Udhaya Kumar stressed that the core values of commitment, service, respect, innovation, teamwork, and integrity will be always upheld.Among the guests at the opening were Wellcare Group director Khalid, Aster Qatar CEO Dr Sameer Moopen, Care n Cure Group CEO Abdurahman, CNA-Q lead instructor Norman Wong, Q Life and Medical Insurance’s Mohamed Masood, Gorazd Slivnik (Fysioline Oy, Finland), Jetty George (Pharmacare Group) as well as healthcare practitioners from Wellcare Group, Aster DM Healthcare, Care n Cure Group, and Pharmacare Group.
