The ‘Qatar International Medical Devices & Healthcare Exhibition and Conference’ (QMED) will host more than 70 exhibitors and seven countries from March 25 to March 27 at the Qatar National and Convention Centre (QNCC). The event, under the Patronage of Ministry of Public Health, will provide a specialised and integrated platform to boost the communication among the local, regional, and international players, and highlight the latest trends and newest developments in and for the Qatari healthcare sector.The event, which will take place on a 5,000sq m area, is planned to organise three conferences and workshops, where more than 700 doctors are expected to attend these conferences and workshops, and also to be part of the latest innovations, technologies, services, and solutions.Khalifa al-Mohannadi, manager of Sogha Exhibitions & Conferences, said: “QMED attracts a number of VIP’s and leading names in the Qatari healthcare sector, which emphasises on its foremost role as an ideal communicative platform to enhance the communication among those concerned with healthcare in Qatar.“The event is also widely welcomed by experts, suppliers, and those specialised in health sector worldwide who are attending to discuss the latest developments, visions, and trends prevailing in healthcare market, as well as highlighting the latest technical innovations and best practices which aim at developing the level of healthcare services.“We have faith that the event will be undoubtedly a platform to support the development of the Qatari healthcare sector in the frame of the relentless efforts by the Qatari Government to improve the quality of health services in Qatar.“We call the competent companies to offer healthcare services and all the investors and those concerned with the health sector in Qatar to benefit from this exclusive opportunity that allows them to directly communicate and interact with healthcare leaders in the region and worldwide.”Al-Mohannadi expressed his deep gratitude for the local, regional, and international companies participating in the exhibition.
