QC implements seven relief projects for Syrian refugees in Lebanon

QCu2019s assistance includes the distribution of winter needs and providing urgent medical services.
Qatar Charity (QC), with support from benefactors in Qatar, has started the implementation of seven new emergency relief projects to provide the winter needs for more than 226,000 refugees in Lebanon in order to help them cope with the cold and snowstorms. These projects are being implemented by QC at an estimated cost of nearly QR8mn as part of its Arsal Relief campaign to ease the suffering of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the organisation has said in a statement.QC’s assistance includes the distribution of blankets and heating materials (diesel), winter clothes and food to thousands of needy families in the poorest and most needy camps, in addition to the rehabilitation of uninhabitable tents in the Arsal camps.
The assistance also includes providing urgent medical services to mothers, children and the elderly, sending a mobile clinic to remote and snow-covered areas, and ensuring the provision of childrentarget="_blank"'>
