Qatar Charity organises celebrations for orphans worldwide on National Day

Qatar Charity (QC) offices in Sudan, Kenya, Albania, Indonesia and Kosovo organised several activities for orphans and their mothers to mark the Qatar National Day (QND).Such activities, attended by a number of Qatari diplomats in these countries, included cultural, sports and recreational competitions which reflected the love and appreciation of the participants for QC’s programmes and Qatar. The diplomats thanked Qatar for its contributions in the field of humanitarian work and its role in bringing the joy and pleasure to the needy worldwide.
QC marks Qatar National Day in Sudan
In Kosovo, more than 300 orphans and 100 mothers participated in the QND celebration, which was attended by Qatar's ambassador and local government officials who hailed the outstanding services provided by QC to the people of Kosovo.QC’s office in Burkina Faso organised a visit for the sponsored orphans to the Burkinabe Parliament, where Bala Saka Nada, the speaker of the parliament, commended the projects implemented by the Qatari institution, saying these projects achieved great success in contributing to the provision of a decent living for many families.QC’s office in Sudan held a ceremony in the capital Khartoum to mark QND, which was attended by around 250 orphans, along with their mothers. QC sponsors more than 15,000 orphans in all the states of Sudan.The QND celebration in Indonesia witnessed some 300 orphans, along with their mothers, participating.
