Aspire Zone commemorates heritage of Qatar’s forefathers

Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) commemorated the heritage of Qatar’s forefathers by holding an exclusive event yesterday for its employees as part of the Qatar National Day celebrations across the country. AZF CEO Mohamed Khalifa al-Suwaidi joined senior officials and employees from AZF’s member organisations – Aspire Academy, Aspire Logistics, and Aspetar (orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital) – in a demonstration of national unity and loyalty. The celebration involved a traditional Ardha sword dance and military parade performed by members of the Qatar Armed Forces. Amongst the senior officials who took part in the event include Abdulaziz al-Mahmoud, deputy president for Sport Projects at AZF; Abdulla Nasser al-Naemi, director general of Aspire Logistics; Ahmad Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, chief administration officer at Aspire Logistics; Mohamed al-Kuwari, chief marketing officer at AZF; Khalifa al-Kubaissi, safety and security director; Ghanim Faysal al-Kubaisi, chief finance officer at AZF; Badr al-Hay, director of Education and Student Affairs at Aspire Academy; and Ali Sultan Fakhroo, director of Corporate Services at Aspire Academy.“We are happy to gather today to celebrate one of the most precious moments for all AZF employees from Qatar and across the globe. We expressed our pride and unity as we continue our achievements,” the AZF CEO told attendees.“Thanks to every one of you. Together, we are a role model in loyalty and hard work in service of our beloved country, Qatar,” he added.AZF’s week-long Qatar National Day programme will conclude on the evening of December 18 where Aspire Park visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including cultural and heritage shows, movies under the stars and more.
