Farewell ceremony for Mexican envoy

HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi held a farewell ceremony yesterday honouring the outgoing Mexican ambassador, Francisco Niembro, at the Diplomatic Club. The ceremony was attended by heads of diplomatic missions in Qatar, as well as foreign ministry officials.Envoy presentscredentialsGovernor-General and Commander-in-Chief of New Zealand, Patsy Reddy, received the credentials of Qatar’s non-resident ambassador Saad bin Abdullah al-Mahmoud in Wellington yesterday.The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the governor-general and commander-in-chief of New Zealand, and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of New Zealand.
