Ministry reveals sales volume of products

The sales of locally produced agricultural products at the four yards located in Al Mazrouah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, Al Wakrah and Al Shamal amounted to 368 tonnes of vegetables and fruits in the fourth week of the initiative, from November 22 to 24, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment said. The sales of the previous week stood at 345 tonnes. The amount of fish sold during the fourth week of the new season amounted to 2,500kg in addition to around 390 trays of eggs, 1,808 domestic birds, 400kg of milk and 116kg of honey. Similarly, 411 heads of sheep and goats were sold along with a good amount of barley and fodder.
