Qatar Charity brings succor to drought-hit project in Kenya

Qatar's ambassador to Kenya, Jabor bin Ali al-Dosari, participated in the distribution of food to the drought-affected people.

Qatar Charity (QC) has completed an emergency relief project for drought-affected people in Kenya's eastern province of Turkana, where QC distributed essential food items for 20,000 people in a number of drought-affected villages.

The project was funded by Qatari philanthropists and implemented by Qatar Charity office in Nairobi as part of QC continuous efforts to help the Kenyan people, especially in areas affected by natural disasters such as floods and droughts.

Qatar's ambassador to Kenya Jabor bin Ali al-Dosari, who participated in the distribution of food to the affected people, praised Qatar Charity for its humanitarian efforts in Kenya and encouraged the implementation of more relief and development projects in these poor areas.
