Amiri Naval Forces delegation visits Italian frigate at Doha port

Commander of the Fleet of Amiri Naval Forces Brigadier General Ghanem Mubarak al-Hajri visited Italian frigate (Federico Martinengo), accompanied by a number of naval officers. The Italian frigate is in Doha as part of a tour of the region. The delegation was received by the commander of the First Marine Division of the Italian Navy, and the commander of the Federico Martinengo frigate. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest between Qatar and Italy in the field of training and development, as well as ways of developing co-operation between the two countries’ naval forces. The meeting also dealt with the co-operation in the field of training, exercise, and exchange of experiences. The delegation toured the frigate and was briefed on the equipment and techniques used in defence, offence and communication systems.
