Qatar-Sudan defence ties reviewed

HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem met the Chief of Staff of the Sudanese Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Kamal Abdel Marouf al-Mahi, at the military attache office of the of Qatar in Washington yesterday. They discussed bilateral relations  in defence and military fields and means of enhancing them. HE al-Ghanem also met the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General Yasar Guler on the sidelines of the conference on violence and extremist organisations, held yesterday, in Washington DC. Discussions during the meeting dealt with relations of mutual interest between Qatar and Turkey in all defence and military fields and means of enhancing and developing them.
