Doha West Metro sub-station commissioned

The fourth electricity sub-station of the Doha Metro project started functioning from yesterday. The 220/132/33 kv Doha West Metro Super Sub-station in the neighbourhoods of the Mall of Qatar in Rayyan became operational, after Kahramaa’s Electricity Projects head Ahmed Ali al-Kuwari formally connected it to the electricity network. Three other similar stations have also been opened so far in such locations as Abu Fontas, Lusail and Al Waab. The fifth, which is the biggest of its kind in the series, would be ready for commissioning soon in Al Bidda.
