Several art workshops at Katara Art Studios soon

Katara Art Studios is preparing to launch several art workshops soon, conducted by international artists and experts, aimed at promoting beginner artistic skills for enthusiasts, it was announced yesterday. Japanese artist Ayumi Endo will carry out a workshop on Geometric Portrait Painting on September 21, 23 and 27 and another workshop on “Gamaguchi” pouch making on September 22 and 25. A workshop on charcoal illustration basics, by artist Ibrahim Abbas, is set from October 1 to 5 followed by a workshop on tie and dye by artist Najeeba Sadad from October 10 to 13.Recall of Ford F-150 modelsThe Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Almana Motors Company, has announced the recall of Ford F-150 models of 2015-2018 because the friction of the electrical wires of the seat belts with the car pedals in the event of a collision could lead to a fire. The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that automobile dealers follow up on vehicles’ defects and repair them. The MEC said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
