Police College holds graduation for 'Officers of Tomorrow'

The Police College recently held a graduation ceremony for the fifth batch of students who took part in the 'Officers of Tomorrow' programme.
The programme is organised by the college in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for students of primary schools.The graduation ceremony was attended by Staff Brig Abdullah Mohamed al-Suwaidi, director of the General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD); Brig Hamad Othman al-Duhaimi, assistant director of the GDCD; Maj Fahad Saeed al-Subaie, director of the Training Department, Police College, along with a number officers from the Civil Defence and Police College and parents of the students participating in the programme, according to a report on the Ministry of Interior (MoI) website.
Officials at the graduation ceremony.Speaking to the media, Staff Brig al-Suwaidi expressed happiness at the graduation of the fifth batch of the 'Officers of Tomorrow' programme, stressing that the initiative would continue in the coming years in an even "broader and better" way.He stressed that the students "are the sons of the homeland who will be entrusted in the future with protecting the homeland and maintaining security and hope in the hearts of everyone who lives on this land".Staff Brig al-Suwaidi said the students received excellent training that included different activities such as self-defence, swimming, fitness and archery, in addition to various awareness lectures.
