Qatar’s al-Haj wins discus throw gold

Qatar’s Ahmad al-Haj claimed the gold medal in the boys discus throw event at the Youth Olympic Games Asian qualification in Bangkok, Thailand. Al-Haj stood on top of podium after hurling the discus to 61.28m. He has also secured his place in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be staged in Argentina in October.
