Afghanistan suicide attack condemned

Qatar yesterday condemned a suicide attack in the city of Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar Province in eastern Afghanistan, which killed at least 18 people in a crowd celebrating the Eid holiday. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons. The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Afghanistan.
