The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar’s shock, calling the attack a desperate attempt to derail the ceasefire agreement between the Afghan government and the Taliban movement and efforts to bring lasting peace in the country. The statement expressed Qatar’s full solidarity with the Afghan government and its support for all efforts to maintain security and achieve peace and stability.
