Garangao night at Doha Festival City

Families weredelighted by activities at Doha Festival City this weekend where theywere able to celebrate Ramadan together. Last Friday, Doha Festival Citycelebrated the traditional Garangao night with more than 10,000sweet-filled goody bags that were handed over to the visitors during theevent. The children were encouraged to dress up in traditional Qatarioutfits to add even more fun to the free-of-charge celebration. Throughout the rest of the weekend, children got the chance to createwith many priceless artworks created for their families. There are manymore activities taking place throughout the holy month of Ramadan atDoha Festival City. They include Live Cooking Stations; Story Telling;Henna Painting; Traditional Games; Interactive Photo Booth withTraditional Dresses and Permanent Wall – 99 Names of Allah display.
