Philippine I-Day reception held

Philippine ambassador Alan Timbayan is joined by Qatar’s Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs HE Dr Issa Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi, Education and Higher Education undersecretary Ibrahim bin Saleh bin Khalifa al-Nuami and Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ chief of protocol Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhroo at the Philippine Independence Day reception in Doha on Sunday. Timbayan cited the 37-year relations between Qatar and the Philippines, saying such “special ties that bind us together are cemented by strong people-to-people linkages, which are rooted on mutual respect for cultural diversity and religious tolerance.”
