Oryx GTL staffers take part in turtle beach clean-up drive

Oryx GTL staff recently collaborated with their colleagues in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) for the Turtle Beach Clean-Up Campaign.Qatar Petroleum organised the campaign and invited all companies and contractors in RLIC to participate in cleaning the northern beach of Ras Laffan Industrial City. The initiative saw a large turnout of participants from different companies, a press statement noted.A number of Oryx GTL employees took part in the event, which was aimed at cleaning and preserving one of Qatar’s best nesting spots for hawksbill turtles. “Oryx GTL participates in the campaign as it is committed to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030 and keen to preserve the country’s non-renewable resources, prevent pollution in the environment, reduce waste production and work on recycling it,” the statement noted. “Oryx GTL has always strived to achieve excellence and continuous improvement in production processes to make the company’s products environment-friendly.  “This has been demonstrated by the fact that it has received numerous high-level certificates on the level of oil and gas companies around the world.”
