Nawaf wins Qatar Asian Junior Tennis Tournament title

Qatar’s Rashid Nawaf  confidently claimed the second edition of  Qatar Asian Junior Tennis Tournament (U-14 year) after defeating India’s Aditya Chopra 6-3, 6-2 in the final at  Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex  on Saturday. Nasser al-Yafe of Qatar and Teem al-Azamah of Syria combined well to win the doubles title. The tournament was jointly organised by Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation in co-operation with  Asian Tennis Federation. Qatar Asian Junior Tournament is one of the most important events on the QTSBF calendar as the federation is keen to provide the players of this age group with the opportunity to develop their skills.
