Top-notch exhibitors set to attend Cityscape Qatar

Opportunities to invest in Qatar’s real-estate market will take centre stage at Cityscape Qatar this year, especially as momentum builds behind new and existing projects from the country’s major developers, the organisers have said. Cityscape Qatar 2018, in its seventh edition, will open its doors from April 22 to 25 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre with an opportunity for leading local, regional and international exhibitors to meet and build relationships with many home buyers, investors and senior executives involved in the design and construction of public and private real-estate developments in Qatar and internationally. Cityscape Qatar 2018, the premier event for the real-estate industry in Qatar, has garnered huge interest from chief industry players as well as illustrated an increase in size and attendance, according to a statement by the organisers. Exhibitors at Cityscape Qatar will have the opportunity to showcase their projects and services to global real-estate investors and financiers, developers across all asset classes, architects and urban planners, consultants and representatives from investment and economic agencies and cities.Astad, Cityscape Qatar’s strategic project management partner, Just Real Estate, Place Vendome and Msheireb Properties will be among the top local companies exhibiting. They will be joined by regional and international heavyweights Mirage International Property Consultants, Qatar Rail Development Programme, as well as Turkish companies Istihale and Iyimaya Muhendislik Insaat AS, Richland Consultants Inc from the US and real-estate companies from Georgia, Cyprus and Pakistan. With expected visitor numbers of more than 7,000 across the four-day event, Cityscape Qatar 2018 will bring together the real-estate community from around the globe to enhance and support the growth of the industry under Qatar National Vision 2030, while enabling all participants to see Qatar’s future and the opportunities arising from 2022 FIFA World Cup, the statement notes. Several projects that will be discussed and highlighted throughout the exhibition, some of which will be part of Qatar National Vision 2030, include the Qatar Rail project, the hospitality industry and the state-of-the-art stadiums being developed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Exhibitor United Development Company (UDC) will launch Giardino Village’s low-rise building plots, which are available for private development, plus independent villa plots and UDC’s completed villas. UDC senior logistics and quality control manager Elias Massaad said, “We will also be utilising Cityscape as a platform to highlight the exciting sales and leasing offers on our completed projects in various precincts of The Pearl-Qatar. The focus will be on Al-Mutahidah Towers, located on the beachfront precinct of Viva Bahriya, and now in phase three of sales.” Carole Sabbagah of Place Vendome said they are excited to showcase a unique range of luxury properties, including Place Vendome, which is opening in 2019, Villaggio Mall, Paramount Tower, Al Asmakh Lusail 1 - Fox Hills, and Regency Residence - Viva Bahriya 7, among others. Lamias Finanos, marketing manager of Just Real Estate, said they will showcase new local and international residential properties. “Our focus for Cityscape 2018 will be on the launch of Baywalk on The Pearl-Qatar. Furthermore, we are extremely pleased to be showcasing our prestigious THE e18hteen commercial building (winner of the 2018 best commercial high rise in Qatar) in Lusail City. “Additionally, we will also be showcasing some of our exciting international properties, including Buyukyali in Turkey, and innovative new development in one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities,” Finanos said.
