Fifty One East hosts Spring/Summer Couture, Bridal Fall collections

FiftyOne East recently hosted a three-day trunk show for the acclaimedLebanese-Italian designer, Tony Ward, for his new Spring/Summer HauteCouture collection - Fractals - and Bridal Fall 2018 collection - LaMariée.The luxury department store presented Ward’s new seasoncollections for the first time in the Middle East, directly after ParisHaute Couture Week 2018, it said in a press statement. The designeris revered for his tribute to women and their femininity, with the tasteand distinctive charm of timeless style. His creations are popular withnot only the world’s most astute fashionistas, but also internationalactresses, models and singers, including Julie Bowen, Aubrey Plaza,Ahlam, Elissa and Myriam Fares, among others.Fractals, his newseason collection, reflects the “chaotic pattern that is foundeverywhere around, with shapes that are infinitely complex and originatefrom chaotic mathematical equations, driven by recursion. Following thesame chaos, these patterns are replicated on the dresses; eachrepetition creating random, unique and beautiful outlines that aresimilar to the initial shape, yet presented by a multitude ofinfinitesimal differences”, the statement explains. These patternscontinue to be handcrafted on dresses made of lace, organza, embroideredtulle and laser-cut satin. The colours range from rose, lilac and lightgreen to greige and cream, giving a “light and delicate summery feelingto the collection.” The patterns on the garments, along with thejuxtaposition of strong and soft volumes, add a touch of “unusual andoffset beauty to the collection”.Prêt-à-couture wedding dresses werealso presented during the trunk show at Fifty One East. The dresseswere created using delicate materials such as lace, silk, organza andtulle, and were embellished with meticulous hand-made embroideries,subtle romantic patchworks and 3D flowers. “Through flawless volumes andmeticulous detailing, the gowns unveil the femininity of a Tony Wardbride,” the statement added.Tony Ward is available exclusively in Qatar at Fifty One East located at Lagoona Mall.
