Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), the exclusive dealer of Toyotain Qatar, has announced the winners of the Dream Car Art Contest.Children in three age categories had participated in the competition: under 8 years, 8-11 years and 12-15 years.Since 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been conducted as partof Toyota Motor Corp Japan’s social contribution initiatives.In Qatar, AAB — Toyota organised the contest with the aim of developingchildren’s creative abilities and motivating them to express theirtalent in drawing their dream cars.The initiative was an attempt by AAB — Toyota to discover the hiddenpotential in children and unveil their imagination for future cars, thecompany said in a statement yesterday.In order to “offer ample opportunity” for children to take part in thecompetition, AAB — Toyota collaborated with more than 60 schools for thecontest in which students draw their dream cars at their schools.The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest gives children throughout the world anopportunity to develop an interest in cars and helps them feel the joyand importance of having a dream.The contest invites children from all corners of the globe to shareideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars, whichmay enable one of the talented children in Qatar to visit Japan.The winners are as follows — under 8 years: Krishna Mahesh (MES IndianSchool), Varsha Stalin (DPS Modern Indian School) and Ahaan Gupta (DPSModern Indian School); 8-11 years: Keerthana Jayachandran (RajagiriPublic School), Sanjeena Banerjee (Birla Public School) and KrishnaAshok (MES Indian School); and 12-15 years: Marilyn Judith Rego (DPSModern Indian School), Siddhi Prasad (DPS Modern Indian School) andJasim Manzoor Muldad (Ideal Indian School).
