QIB announces 2nd winner of Visa 2018 FIFA World Cup prizes

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the second winner of its FIFA World Cup Russia Campaign. The prize packages are offered in partnership with Visa, the official payment partner of the FIFA World Cup. QIB started the campaign on January 15, giving all its Visa cardholders the exclusive chance to attend the World Cup in Russia by simply using their card for purchases in Qatar and abroad. This month’s winner, Hissa al-Mohannadi, was awarded a fully-paid package to fly to Russia and attend the 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-final match, along with a companion of her choice. The draw was conducted in the presence of an official representative from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and QIB representatives.The QIB promotion runs until April 15 to reward six more tickets to three lucky QIB Visa cardholders. The fully-paid packages include airfare, deluxe accommodation, tickets for a 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-final match with pre-match hospitality, and a guided tour to the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg, courtesy of Visa.“It is our responsibility in QIB to provide our customers with unique products tailored to meet their specific financial needs. While supporting them at important moments and decisions throughout their life, we also want to grant them exciting life experiences,” said D Anand, QIB general manager, Personal Banking Group.Customers who use their Visa credit cards locally or internationally, and those who use their Visa debit card internationally for a minimum of QR5,000 during the month, will be eligible to enter the monthly draw which will select one winner every month. Customers who use the same cards for a minimum of QR15,000 during the three month-campaign will also get an additional chance to win the fully-paid 2018 FIFA World Cup packages.
