QatarFoundation (QF) and Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA), havesigned a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will help provide uniquelearning opportunities to empower young people in Qatar.QF acting CEO and CEO’s Office executive director Omran al-Kuwari and QFCA CEO Yousuf Mohamed al-Jaida were the signatories.Theagreement aims to offer a holistic framework in line with developinglifelong learning opportunities for Qatar’s youth – part of QF’soverarching ethos – through the forging of ties between local entities.Aspart of the collaboration, a series of competitions, workshops, andevents pertaining to business and entrepreneurship activities will beoffered to students at universities in Education City, alongside anumber of volunteer opportunities. In addition, QFCA will provide arange of internships, and students will be encouraged to launchbusinesses through the entity.HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani,vice chairperson and CEO of QF, said, “At Qatar Foundation, we strive toequip young people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they needto excel, personally and academically. We are therefore delighted topartner with Qatar Financial Centre Authority to provide additionallearning opportunities to our students at Education City.
