MG Motor launches its MG RX5 SUV in Qatar

AutoClass Cars, authorised distributor of MG in Qatar, has announced thatthe MG RX5 compact SUV will be available in the Qatari market by the endof April.  MG Motor’s new ‘Hero SUV’ will be available at the MGshowroom on Salwa Road, with prices starting at around QR54,000. Thenew MG RX5 will appeal to a range of customers, especially youngerbuyers looking for value for money in a stylish,technologically-advanced package that allows them to stand out from thecrowd, according to a statement. Equipped with a 1.5T petrol engineand 7-speed automatic gearbox, the MG RX5 is available as entry levelstandard or mid-range COM models. The more powerful 2.0T power plantis mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and is offered for either COMor top-of-the-range LUX trim levels, with the latter featuring All-WheelDrive. The MG RX5 boasts an attractive, futuristic design, notably atthe front where the stylish square LED headlamps, imposing wing-shapedgrille and innovative fog lamps endow it with real on-the-roadpresence.  Sporty five-spoke, two-tone 18” rims are combined with asharp waistline that rises from front to rear, enhancing the dynamiclook. At the rear, a chrome plate stretches out to the dual taillights, visually extending the vehicle width.
