120 QNB staff take part in leadership programme

QNB recently held a graduation ceremony for more than 120 employees whoparticipated in the ‘Leadership and Management Development Programme’marking its sixth year.The programme was organised by the bank in collaboration with therenowned FranklinCovey Middle East and International Group for Training.The Leadership and Management Development Programme, which comprisessupervisory, management and leadership skill development over the spanof three months, offers participants the opportunity to develop andenhance their managerial skills, and enable future leaders to achievetheir ambitions and career goals. The programme is also part of one of the bank’s talent managementendeavours, which provides QNB Group with leadership and managementcompetencies capable of supporting its expansion and the rapid growth ofits operations. It aims to develop and raise staff efficiency as part of an ongoinghuman capital strategy aiming to consolidate the status of the bank asthe “employer of choice” in Qatar and across its internationalfootprint.QNB Group executive general manager and group chief operating officerAli Rashid al-Mohannadi said: “This programme reflects the importancethat QNB attaches to its manpower, through training and developmentprogrammes, in order to enhance their capabilities, improve theirperformance and achieve the desired objectives and results.”“Investing in national human capital to build a knowledge-based economyis an important pillar of QNB’s mission towards achieving Qatar NationalVision 2030, which considers human capital development as a keyaspect,” al-Mohannadi added. The development of staff skills is one of the most important prioritiesof QNB Group, as it is constantly striving to develop the latesttraining programmes to enhance the efficiency of its employees,particularly their ability to assume duties in the banking environmentand achieving excellence in their careers.
