Emiri Naval Forces hold joint exercise with Pakistan Navy

The Emiri Naval Forces have carried out a joint three-day maritimeexercise (Sea Lion 1) with the Pakistan Navy in the territorial watersof Qatar, the Defence Communication Directorate at the Ministry ofDefence has announced. Artillery and rocket boats and high-speed pursuitboats belonging to the Emiri Naval Forces and Pakistan Navy’s warshipHimmat and Maritime Security ship Basol participated in the exercise.The exercise aimed at enhancing defence co-operation between Qatar andPakistan. The exercise was carried out as part of the Doha InternationalMaritime Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2018).
