Al Nahmah Prize winners honoured

HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and other dignitaries attending the concluding programme of the Art of Al Nahmah Prize, a traditional singing competition celebrating the GCC states’ maritime heritage, organised by Katara yesterday. Kuwait’s Faisal Abdul Mohsen Malallah won the first prize of QR100,000. The second place went to Qatar’s Ali Nasser al-Haddad, who won QR70,000, while Kuwait’s Hamad bin Hussain secured the third position (QR50,000). This was the second edition of the competition.
