Left-wing French newspaper Liberation marked International Women's Day on Thursday by charging male readers a higher price than women.The daily published two front covers, one marked "For women - €2 - normal price" and the other "For men - €2.50."The difference corresponds to the 25% earning gap between men and women in France, according to the newspaper, which said it was inspired by a similar move by Canadian magazine Maclean's.The extra money paid by readers of the male edition is to go to Laboratoire de l'Egalite, a non-governmental organisation working on gender equality.
