Al Khaliji takes part in QU’s annual career fair

Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) is participating in the 2018Qatar University (QU) annual Career Fair, which is being held untiltomorrow. Al Khaliji’s participation comes in the framework of its Qatarisationstrategy, and goals in line with the bank’s social responsibilitytowards Qatar’s next generation, according to a press statement. Acting as a platform for nurturing and developing young Qatariprofessionals in the banking and finance sector is an integral part ofAl Khaliji’s recruitment strategy, which has been designed to dovetailwith Qatar National Vision 2030 and its focus on human capitaldevelopment, as its main engine towards building a knowledge-basedeconomy, the statement noted. “Al Khaliji’s participation in the QUCareer Fair is part of the bank’s wider human development and capacitybuilding programme, which aims to power its network of branches with thebest-in-class staff and banking professionals, while raising the barfor the banking and financial sector in Qatar as well as the region.”In its 12th year, the QU Career Fair is expected to attract a huge base of promising talents. Al Khaliji offers scholarships for promising young university studentsat QU, who are guaranteed employment with the bank after completion oftheir degree. Al Khaliji said it is hoping to attract talented Qatariswith the bank’s financial incentives and professional developmentopportunities.
