The ninth batch of National Service recruits graduated yesterday at theMiqdam Camp in a grand ceremony held under the patronage and in thepresence of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State forDefence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah. Also present were HEthe Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanem binShaheen al-Ghanem, National Service Authority head Staff Major GeneralSaeed Hamad al-Naimi and a number of other commanders and officers. Amilitary parade taken out on the occasion saw the graduates displayingtheir combat capabilities. The graduates have undergone intensivemilitary and academic programmes, including infantry and weaponstraining.
