MoU signed

The Centre for Strategic Studies has signed a memorandum ofunderstanding (MoU) with Al Jazeera Centre for Studies, the Ministry ofDefence (MoD) announced yesterday. Staff Maj Gen Dr Hamad Mohamedal-Marri, commander of the Centre for Strategic Studies, attended thesigning. The MoU envisages co-operation in the field of strategicstudies, leadership training programmes, and organisation of events suchas workshops, forums and conferences within and outside Qatar, theDirectorate of Defence Communication at the MoD said in a statement.Staff Maj Gen Dr al-Marri expressed satisfaction at signing the MoU,which also seeks to benefit both sides through the efforts and work ofexperts and researchers from the two organisations.
