Minister al-Rumaihi visits Netherlands

HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi met the Netherlands’ Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Security Carola Schouten, in Amsterdam yesterday. During the meeting, they discussed co-operation between Qatar and the Netherlands in the fields of modern technology for greenhouse agriculture and food security. HE al-Rumaihi and the accompanying delegation also visited the central market in the port of Notre Dame, Dutch companies specialising in the field of greenhouses and increasing production, and Wageningen University, which is one of the largest agricultural universities. During the visits, the Minister discussed with the Dutch officials co-operation in the field of agriculture and farm research.
