Ingushetia republic seeks to widen ties with Qatar

Qatar and Russia continue to enjoy strong relations in various fields of co-operation, according to Ingushetia President Yunus Beck Yevkurov. Ingushetia is a Russian Federation republic.
President Yevkurov said Ingushetia is seeking to deepen its relations with Qatar as 2018 marks the Qatar–Russia Year of Culture.Yevkurov was speaking on the sidelines of the 'Masters of Arts of the Republic of Ingushetia' artistic show at Katara – the Cultural Village on Tuesday.The show included Russian traditional dances and songs performed by the Ingushetia National Group, in addition to a paintings exhibition and traditional fashions exposition. 
Ingushetia National Group performs Russian traditional dances and songs at Katara.The event was attended by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Chief of Protocol Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhro, and Katara general manager Dr Khaled bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, as well as a number of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions.“Katara always host such events to open cultural windows on different cultures of the world, as this show comes to celebrate the Qatar-Russia Year of Culture and discover the traditions and legacy of Ingushetia,” Dr al-Sulaiti said.
