Kuwait’s al-Muzayen to meet India’s Singh in final

Kuwait’s Abdullah al-Muzayen and India’s Abhay Singh entered the final of the Qatar Circuit No6 Squash Tournament yesterday.At the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, Al-Muzayen stunned the top seed Iker Pajares Bernabeu of Spain 12-14, 16-14, 9-11, 11-8, 12-10 in 83 minutes in the first semi-final.In the second semifinal, the Junior British Open runner-up and the second seed Singh took just 25 minutes to beat seventh seed Yannik Omlor. The final will be played at 6.00pm today.RESULTSSEMI-FINALSAbdullah al-Muzayen (KUW) beat [1] Iker Pajares Bernabeu (ESP) 12-14, 16-14, 9-11, 11-8, 12-10 (83m)[2] Abhay Singh (IND) beat [7] Yannik Omlor (GER) 11-6, 11-4, 11-7 (25m).
