They lead Group D, ahead of Saudi Arabia on goal difference. The Saudi team defeated New Zealand yesterday. The match between Qatar and Saudi will determine the group winner, as both have guaranteed their qualification into the next round. Member of the Qatari delegation in the competition Adel al-Enzi said that the team is giving their best so far.He added that the match against China was more challenging than the one against New Zealand, but the Qatari team has enough experience to overcome the two challenges. He added that the team was taking the first round seriously, as a team’s performance during that round determines their path towards the final.
