Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi was unveiled by QNB Stars League side Al Gharafa yesterday. Taremi becomes the second signing in the winter transfer period for Gharafa, after Dutch star midfielder Wesley Sneijder joined last week. Mehdi, who had an outstanding career with defending Iranian league champions Persepolis since 2014, donned the Iran national team jersey 22 times, scoring 10 goals.
